So ok lets do this.. I wrote this post last night but couldnt keep my eyes open.. i am feeling disappointed and upset and i dont even know if i hv the mood to write... I managed to upload all my photos and managed to get it together.. phewww finally.. hb got back into Barcelona on Saturday afternoon and u can really see that Sonia has been missing her papa...
Sonia on the other hand is well.. she slept today crying looking for her ipad.. a "monster" had stolen her ipad just bec "she" got pissed off with her brother.. what a loser.. oh well.. some ppl really hv the nerve to do that to a 3yrs old and i will never forgive someone that breaks my little Sonia's heart.. thank god shes gone cos i cannot stand someone who loves to whine just abt anything under the sun!
Today hb will be out somewhere to visit his supplier with his customers.. I am not planning anything big.. thought of just chilling .. do laundry and ironing so that when we get home i dont hv to do all that.. probably i will take her to the nearest playground again.. she has been there twice so far and yesterday while exploring this area we found a couple more.. probably will do a lot more touristy things once hb is done with all his work.. am thinking of taking her to the zoo too.. will see..
Here are some pics that i managed to take for the past couple of days.. will write some of the caption later as my brain cannot work right now.. enjoy the pics first ok and to Yat.. u shud consider Barcelona as ur next destination cos out of all the European countries that i hv been.. i really like it here.. the history.. the cleanliness.. the ppl.. they are one friendly lot i must say...
Sonia loves it here... she can spent hrs running after pigeons.. it breaks my heart looking at how happy she was earlier today bef she realized abt what happened.. :o(
Catalunya Square is known as the "heart of Barcelona". It links four major avenues: la Ramblas, Passeig de Gracia, la Rambla de Catalunya and Portal de l'Angel. What a dramatic sight!
The square was filled with sightseers, families out for an early afternoon stroll and hundreds of pigeons.. the construction of this hub was completed between 1925-1927.. its purpose was to connect the Old Town with Eixample.
Casa Batlló is one of the two great buildings designed by Antoni Gaudi on Passeig de Gracia, the other being La Pedrera..
La Ramblas - lots of thing going on this stretch of walk.. street performers.. outdoor cafes, shops and cafes..
Camp Nou - home to FC Barcelona. On Sunday was the derby against Espanol (another Barcelona team). All tickets sold out but hubby managed to get some for his customers. Lucky them!
Seafood Paella... was yummy and definitely much more delish than the one we had in Düsseldorf five months ago!
